LOOKING BACK AT THE LAST FEW MONTHS
2011 so far was turbulent. The Vapour album tour brought me to some incredible places - Tokyo, Fabric, Berghain. But I had some of the best times in lesser known spots, especially Corsica and Cyprus. Amazing food, people, venues and nature made for some moments so beautiful they will stay with me forever. I also think that house and techno really needs some fresh ideas and courageous artists - it just boggles my mind how little love and individuality many (often well-paid) colleagues put into their profession. It's the best job in the world, don't take it for granted. It helps to look in other places than your own backyard for inspiration. Spotify is a fantastic tool for discovering music from other genres.
Trouw stage at Technootjes Festival Groningen / NL. An amazing warehouse venue and a crowd that rocked super hard. The way it should be! Our small Trouw crew went through 8 crates of beer within a few hours, don't ask me how :-0
